Knit obsessee Kirsty has been knitting since the age of eight. Her passion was brought to life some years down the line, whilst studying for a degree in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design. Having graduated, she headed out to Paris to do a work placement for the fashion house Chloe, and has been working for various London based fashion companies ever since.

Frustrations with mass production, and a bubbling desire to do her own thing led to the creation of Bootie Boutique in 2007, bringing alive her playful love of colour, texture and pattern, and her irresistible zeal to see good things made well.

These days she’s rarely seen without her needles and wool in tow. The Bootie Boutique collection is a labour of love, and has been created everywhere from pubs to park benches, churches to tube trains, beaches to airport lounges.
